While the money line games and individual bets will always get their share of the attention, the parlay bet is easily the most played type of wager when it comes to the NFL, as it gives players the chance to risk less money for a much bigger potential payout. While the easy opposing view to this idea would be to say that the addition of more games that need to come through makes it that much more difficult to win, the fact of the matter is that for those sports betting fans that seem to play the parlay the most, they have no real trouble winning, and winning big.

The most commonly played parlays are those on the spread listed by the pay head bookies for two or more games. While it makes sense not to list too many games in pursuit of a high payout since you are risking so much in the first place, the fact of the matter is that three or four spreads that appear to be good bets for players is more than enough to make a significant profit. At the same time, betting the eight or nine team spreads over the long run could result in a big profit as well, as all it takes is for one of those bets to hit in order to make a big score.
